Pre workout smoothie

Hiya lovelies,
Today I decided I would share with you my pre workout smoothie, this can be substituted for a lunch/ breakfast as well. This smoothie is packed full of nutrients you need before a gym session. I have done two options, one made with almond milk and one made with semi skimmed milk and they both taste identical.

For the almond milk smoothie:
250ml almond milk
20g peanut butter
120g frozen berries
120g fat free greek yogurt
1 medium banana

Macros:
432 calories
47g carbs
15g fat
24g protein

For the milk smoothie
250ml semi skimmed milk
20g peanut butter
120g frozen berries
120g fat free greek yogurt
1 medium banana

Macros:
474 calories
59g carbs
14g fat
25g protein

This recipe can be tweaked, for instance you don't want so much carb take out the banana (a medium banana roughly has 27g of carbs) as you still get carbs from the rest of the smoothie
If you try this smoothie out, tag me on Instagram and Twitter .
Lots of love
Becca xx

  2. I'd have to take out the peanut butter, but this sounds so nice! I used to have breakfast smoothies so it'd be nice to start having them again!

    1. Breakfast smoothies are really good.
The peanut butter was just to add some healthy fats to the smoothie but it's not a necessity.

    1. Frozen fruit gives the smoothie more of an icecream temperature.
